    W4A - Are You Ready?

We are fast approaching the paper deadline for the 10th International Cross-Disciplinary Conference on Web Accessibility (W4A). Time to get those papers, communications, demo’s, and student papers polished - because this year we’ll be partying in Rio! We aren’t far off from the W4A 2013 – 13-15th May 2013 – in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and this means it’s time to pull some all-nighters and get those papers in before Feb 15th!

    ゆいまる - Yuimaru [w4a11 w4a12]

“We are not a company that is in competition with others, instead we are a community of researchers and good scientific research will only enhance our own scientific research and our understanding of the world through our scientific endeavours. When large projects were undertaken, neighbours often got together and the many hands made the work light.

    W4A 2011 - Trip Report [accessibility a11y w4a11]

This years W4A was yet again a triumph, especially Bebo White’s ‘Geezer’ - doing William proud for this second Memorial Address! Now, normally I pick out a few technical papers which I think pretty good, however, departing from convention I decided to summarise each paper, both technical and communication, in as near to 140 characters or two sentences as possible. In this way I hope that anyone interested will be able to quickly understand the gist of the paper and use this understanding to decide if they want to read further.
